Arles hosts many festivities throughout the year Funny Christmas in December, the famous feria in April and September, international meetings of photography during the summer... not to mention the traditional Provençal events that punctuate life of the Arlesians.
You will also have the chance to discover the brand new Luma Tower created by Frank GEHRY.
Just at the end of the street is the Church of Notre-Dame-la-Major. It was the seat of the largest parish in the city and is one of the oldest churches in Arles. Today, the Church of the Major is mainly the religious seat of the brotherhood of guardians. They go there every May 1 to pay homage to Saint George and have their horses blessed.
The Camargue
It is appreciated for its climate, its calm, its wild beaches and the richness of its culture, its fauna and its flora.
